<p>UPDATE: &nbsp;Tips from citizens helped in identifying the driver in this incident. &nbsp;The Lewisville Police Departments thanks the public for their assistance. &nbsp;</p>

<p>On Sunday, October 02, 2016, at approximately 8:40 pm, a 45-year-old male pedestrian was struck in the right southbound lane of 1600 S SH121 Business in&nbsp;Lewisville.&nbsp; Witness statements and video surveillance from surrounding businesses confirms the suspect vehicle as a two tone, red over tan or gray, 2004 - 2008 Ford F-150 crew cab pickup truck with tinted windows.&nbsp; The truck stopped for about 10 seconds, then fled the scene turning right onto westbound E Southwest Parkway. &nbsp;</p>

<p>At the scene, Investigators located the oval Ford emblem and red plastic pieces from the front grill assembly.&nbsp; Video footage also indicated the front right headlight sustained damage. &nbsp;</p>

<p>The 45-year-old male was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance but died a few hours later.&nbsp;</p>
