Several thefts from unlocked autos have occurred in the past week. 
<p>The Rocky River PD has taken several thefts from autos in the past week. Unfortunately every auto that was entered was unlocked. We have sent out numerous NIXLE ALERTS concerning this type of activity. We have increased patrols in these areas, South of Hilliard from Wagar to River Oaks. Again please help us to help you, LOCK YOUR CARS! Please remove any valuables you may have or secure them in the trunk of your car. </p>
<p> These are crimes of opportunity meaning the suspect(s) will pull on car doors, ones that they find open they will enter and remove any valuables that they can. Those car doors that are locked are moved past.</p>
