UPDATE: Police Activity Ends in Arrest of Juvenile
On Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at approximately 5:07 p.m. the Pleasanton Police department received reports of two juveniles fighting at Taco Bell (5524 Springdale Ave.). When officers arrived they located a juvenile with injuries, including apparent stab wounds, which required immediate medical attention. That juvenile was transported to Eden Medical Center and is expected to recover from their injuries.
Information given to officers at Taco Bell indicated the second involved juvenile fled Taco Bell towards the Stoneridge Apartments (6250 Stoneridge Mall Rd.). A police perimeter was quickly established and the juvenile was located and apprehended a short time later. The second juvenile also appeared to have sustained injuries and was medically cleared before being taken to Juvenile Hall.
An initial investigation indicated that this altercation was an isolated incident and that all involved parties have been identified and located. Because both people involved in this incident are juveniles, their identities will not be released.
