<p>All lanes on East H St between Rutgers Ave &amp; Eastlake Dr have been reopened.</p>

<p>This morning, just after 12:30 a.m. CVPD received reports of a vehicle collision on East H St., east of the intersection of Rutgers Ave. The preliminary investigation has determined that a westbound vehicle struck a tree in the center median, continued across the eastbound lanes and came to rest on the south sidewalk. A male adult passenger, believed to be in his 20&rsquo;s, was killed in the collision. Traffic investigators are on scene and all lanes of traffic on East H St. between Rutgers Ave./Corral Canyon Rd. and Eastlake Dr. are closed and traffic is being diverted until the investigation is completed. We anticipate the road will be closed for several more hours. More details will be released as they become available.</p>
