<p>The Town of Surfside Beach has issued an executive order establishing a nighttime curfew.&nbsp; The curfew starts tonight (October 8) at 7:00 p.m. and ends tomorrow (October 9) at 7:00 a.m.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Police Officers will be strictly enforcing the curfew in order to protect persons and property.&nbsp; The curfew prohibits non-essential and emergency travel.&nbsp; Vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be monitored and stopped where necessary.&nbsp; Town and local area residents are asked to stay inside until the curfew is lifted.&nbsp; If you have an emergency, contact emergency personnel.&nbsp;</p>
