Pedestrian Motor Vehicle Accident On October 10th, 2016 at approximately 5:55am Absecon Police Officers responded to the White Horse Pike and Mill Road intersection for a pedestrian motor vehicle accident. Upon patrol officer’s arrival, contact was made with the pedestrian who suffered severe injuries. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Sean Scull. During the investigation of the accident, Mr. Scull was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by Absecon Emergency Services. As a result of the accident traffic was diverted out of the intersection for approximately 2 hours. Atlantic County Prosecutors Office responded and processed the scene. Officer Winkel with the assistance of the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office are investigating the accident.
