Greenfield, IN – Retired Indiana State Police Sergeant Ernie Alder will be carrying the Indiana Bicentennial Torch during its tour through Hancock County. Alder was most known for his work as a Public Information Officer and is credited with starting the Indiana State Police Youth Camps in 1971, which are still active today.
