Overdoses are on the rise in Decatur Township, Indianapolis, IN

Decatur Township is very concerned about the number of people who are having an overdose to heroin or other opiates.  We want to be proactive in protecting our teens and families from harmful substance use. You can help by becoming a part of this initiative and by completing the attached survey.

The Prevention Taskforce is conducting this survey as part of a community assessment to determine how many youths are at risk and identify some of the community risk factors that may be contributing to that use. You can be part of the group that develops an action plan to reduce and prevent teen substance use.   Local data shows that by tenth grade more than 1 in three students report having tried alcohol or other drugs. Harmful substance use among girls is on the rise.

Please forward the link below to anyone in Decatur Township that  would be willing to complete the 27 question survey. It takes less than 10 minutes to fill it out . We need as many people as possible to complete this survey over the next 30 days.
