<p>On October 13, 2016 at approximately 7:17am, Montgomery County Units were dispatched to US 136 just East of Nucor Road in reference to a motor vehicle crash with injuries involving two (2) passenger cars. One vehicle, a 1994 Toyota, was driven by Thomas J. Edwards (age 17) or Crawfordsville, IN. &nbsp;The second vehicle, a 2010 Chevrolet, was driven by Kelly J Kruse (age 39) of Crawfordsville, IN. &nbsp;Matthew Garrett (age 37) of Terre Haute, IN was a passenger in the second vehicle.</p>

<p>Thomas Edwards was pronounced dead at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville after being transpoirted to that location by the Crawfordsville Fire Department. &nbsp;Kelly Kruse and Matthew Garrett were transported, by the Crawfordsville Fire Department, to Franciscan Health Crawfordsville and later transferred to St. Vincent Hospital.</p>

<p>Crash re-constructionist from the Montgomery County Sheriff&#39;s Office and the Indiana State Police were called to the scene of the crash. This crash is still under investigation and toxicology results are pending. &nbsp;US 136 remained closed for approximately four (4) hours however it has been re-opened. &nbsp;The Montgomery County Sheriff&#39;s Office was assisted by the Indiana State Police, Crawfordsville Police Department, Crawfordsville Fire Department, Ladoga Town Marshal and the Indiana Department of Transportation.</p>
