The River Vale Police Department will be participating in River Vale Day on Sunday October 16th at the Mark Lane Sports Complex. Come visit our booth and let us know how we can assist you. We will have available for all our residents:

Our Mobile Prescription Drop Box - safely dispose of their unused, excess, or expired prescription medications. River Vale Police are pleased to provide this valuable service to the community at large, enabling any person to drop off unused prescription medications anonymously and with no questions asked.

Gun Locks (free of charge) - cable locking style gun locks, that work on any style of gun, will be provided to families with guns in their home. The goal is to prevent injuries and deaths caused by firearms, primarily among children.

Ring Video Dorbell $25 Discount Coupons - Ring and the River Vale Police Department have partnered together to help reduce and deter crime, and to make the Ring video doorbell available to residents at a reduced cost. This device has been proven to deter crime and help police solve crimes. For every 10 promo codes redeemed, Ring will send the River Vale Police Department a Ring video doorbell to benefit our Community Policing program.

RVPD H1 - a 2004 Humvee (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) acquired at no cost to the Township through the LESO (Law Enforcement Support Office) 1033 Program. RVPD H1 is used for emergencies including the transportation of equipment & personnel, high water rescue as well as community policing initiatives.
