Additional Information in Brazil Homicide Investigation

Clay County—At approximately 1:49 Sunday morning the person of interest in the homicide investigation died from injuries sustained from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot. The suspect was found Friday at 601 West Central Avenue, Apt. F11 in Brazil. The person of interest has been identified as Trevor Ray Okulovich, 21 of Brazil.

Preliminary autopsy results indicate the suspect’s manner of death as an apparent suicide. No other information related to the autopsy will be released.

Family has been notified.

A joint investigation is ongoing by investigators from the Brazil Police Department and the Indiana State Police. When additional information is deemed appropriate to release to the public, it will be done so in a timely manner.
