<p>On Saturday October 22 2016, the Midland Park Police Department and many other Police Departments throughout NJ will participate in OPERATION TAKE BACK.</p>

<p>This program is sponsored by the US Department of Justice (DEA), the Bergen County Prosecutor&#39;s office and Local Law Enforcement Agencies.</p>

<p>This program is for the proper disposal of expired or old and unused medications prescribed by physicians and no longer used. &nbsp;We will also accept over the counter medications as well. &nbsp;The Midland Park Ambulance Corps will be on hand to accept syringes, epi pens, and other sharp instruments. &nbsp;This program is to clear medicine cabinets and homes of unwanted medications and to dispose of them in a responsible and ecologically safe manner.</p>

<p>These items at times are abused by people within our homes and should be disposed of when no longer needed.</p>

<p>The Midland Park Police headquarters located at 280 Godwin Ave will be open from 10am-2pm on Saturday October 22 2016 for your participation in this program.</p>
