<p>River Edge is committed to helping &quot;at risk&quot; residents during serious emergencies, for example , during a massive power outage with significant snow accumulation. &nbsp;However, rendering assisance requires knowing who needs help when precious moments count.</p>

<p>&quot;At risk&quot; residents include (but are not limited to the howmebound elderly, those living with health care aides, or in some instances, those living alone. &nbsp;Residents of any age with serious health issues, such as a child or adult on a respirator, or those who might need special medications or suplemental oxygen.</p>

<p>Additionally, some may be &quot;at risk&quot; on a temporary basis. &nbsp;Someone recovering from major surgery, or an expectant mother -to-be who is near, or has reached, her due date.</p>
