FRAUD FRIDAY--Protecting Your Teen

Parents, guardians and grandparents of teens, this message is for you. Children can become victims of fraud without knowing it until they take out their first loan for college tuition or their credit is pulled when they rent their first apartment. Several years could pass in the interim and a lot of damage could be done to their financial future in 2, 4, or more years. Take initiative, order free credit reports from each of the major credit bureaus. There should not be much there, but if there is, report the problem to the proper authorities and recover what is rightfully theirs, their identity.
