On Thursday, October 27, 2016, The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Century Station will host a Town Hall meeting and reveal the crime fighting priorities of the residents of Willowbrook. As you may recall, on Saturday, September 17, 2016, more than one hundred Sheriff’s Deputies and volunteers set out to survey 1200 residents to gather information about their concerns and build public trust. The information would be used to inform crime fighting strategies for one of Los Angeles County’s communities in need.
Captain Kerry Carter of Century Sheriff’s Station, in conjunction with the Community Partnerships Bureau, will share with residents the resources and strategies the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will utilize in order to address issues identified in the survey process.
Please join Captain Carter, at the Greater Zion Church (2408 N. Wilmington Avenue, Compton CA 90222), as we discuss the results of the community survey. Community members who reside and work within the focus area are welcome to attend the event and openly discuss the issues that are directly affecting their neighborhood. The ultimate goal of this endeavor, is to reinforce the relationship between the residents of Willowbrook and their Sheriff’s Department.
For additional information about this event contact Sergeant Ryan Bergner at 323-568-4865.
