Please consider the following tips if you have children who will participate in Trick or Treat Night:

Each child should carry or wear something lit, such as a flashlight, glow bracelet or necklace, or flashing attire for visibility.

Be sure walking areas are well-lit and free of obstacles.

parents or responsible adult should ALWAYS accompany young children.

When walking down the street, have the adult walk closest to the road and the children closest to the houses.

Do not run ahead of the adults - It's very easy for children to get carried away and accidentally run into the road.

Parents of older children going alone should plan a route that is acceptable and agree on a specific time when they should be home.

Stay in a group and communicate where they will be going.

Carry a cell phone for quick communication.

Remain on well-lit streets and always use the sidewalk when available.

Never cut across yards or use alleys.

Don't assume the right of way. Motorists may have trouble seeing Trick or Treaters.

When you get home, check all of the candy before allowing children to eat any of it.

*money (change)
