<p>Please be advised effective Friday October 21, 2016 that the NJDEP issued an Administrative Order Designating a Drought Warning for 14 Counties in Northern, Central and Northern Coastal New Jersey. The Drought warning includes all of Ocean County. Ocean County comprises of the Northern Coastal and Southern Coastal Regions. The Borough of Tuckerton is in the Southern Coastal Region whose water supply is from a confined source.</p>
<p>Although we have a confined source for our water supply the Borough of Tuckerton still urges continued water conservation and is requesting from the residents and businesses of the Borough to voluntarily reduce water consumption now in an effort to avoid a water emergency which would require mandatory water restrictions, etc. Here are some examples to help:</p>
<ul>
<li> monitor lawn watering and washing of cars</li>
<li> Fix any in home leaks, including leaking faucets, shower heads, and toilets.</li>
