<p>Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski, and Raritan Township Police Chief Glenn Tabasko announced that an investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, & Narcotics Task Force and the Raritan Township Police Department led to the arrest of one individual for narcotics offenses.</p>

<p>According to Prosecutor Kearns, “On September 20, 2016, Lukasz Biekisz, age 33, of Raritan Township, was arrested and charged with Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Heroin, a crime of the second degree.”</p>

<p>The Prosecutor added, “During this investigation, the defendant sold approximately 65 grams of uncut heroin to undercover detectives. The heroin has a street value of over $20,000.”</p>

<p>This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force at 908-788-1129.</p>

<p>The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.</p>
