<p>This weekend we are gearing up for Angels' Night in our city. Let's use the success of the previous years to continue our momentum.</p>
<p>I'm asking everyone that receives this message to get involved with Angels' Night weekend by volunteering to patrol a neighborhood, turn on your porch light or adopt a house on your block.</p>
<p>Get involved and let's make this a peaceful weekend. I'm asking all citizens, organizations and block clubs to join together this weekend by working together under one umbrella (the people, Detroit Police Department, Detroit Fire Department, and the politicians).</p>
<p>So Detroit - Let's Show up and Show out - remember we are One Detroit!</p>
