Another Good Hit by Trooper Takes More Dope off the Streets in Clark County
 
Jeffersonville-Early this morning around 12:30 am, trooper Andrew Taylor stopped a red Ford F-150 pickup truck for a traffic infraction. The stop took place at U.S. #31 and Court Avenue in Jeffersonville. As trooper Taylor was talking to the occupants of the vehicle he could smell Marijuana coming from the vehicle. He called for assistance from other officers and after the officers arrived trooper Taylor searched the red Ford F-150. During the search he located approximately one ounce of Marijuana, approximately ten grams of Methamphetamine, approximately ten grams of Cocaine, approximately three grams of Heroin and Paraphernalia.
 
Trooper Taylor arrested the driver, Corey T. Parker, 34, from Colonial Park Drive in Jeffersonville, IN, on the charges of Dealing and Possessing Methamphetamine, Felonies; Dealing and Possessing Cocaine, Felonies; Dealing and Possessing Heroin, Felonies; Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Felony and Possession of Marijuana, Misdemeanor.
 
One of the passengers, Morgan Rhea Tevis-Edwards, 22, from Mahan Road in Marysville, IN,  was arrested and charged with Dealing and Possessing Methamphetamine, Felonies; Dealing and Possessing Cocaine, Felonies; Dealing and Possessing Heroin, Felonies; Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Felony and Possession of Marijuana, Misdemeanor.
 
Another passenger, Melissa M. Needler, 46, from Danielle Drive in Jeffersonville, IN, was arrested and charged with Dealing and Possessing Methamphetamine, Felonies; Dealing and Possessing Cocaine, Felonies; Dealing and Possessing Heroin, Felonies; Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Felony; Possession of a Syringe, Felony and Possession of Marijuana, Misdemeanor. She was also wanted on a warrant out of Clark County, IN for a Probation Violation.
 
All three of the arrested were incarcerated at the Clark County Jail.
 
Over $400.00 in U.S. Currency was also seized. The approximate street value of the drugs seized is approximately $2,300.00.
