FATAL TRAFFIC INVESTIGATION 
CORONA, CA- On October 29, 2016 at approximately 2:50 a.m., a traffic collision occurred on Green River Road between Dominguez Ranch and the 91 freeway.
A 26-year-old male was driving a Chevy Silverado pick-up truck eastbound on Green River Road from the 91 freeway in the #1 lane of travel at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control of his vehicle, and it left the roadway, where it entered into an open field south of Green River Road and rolled several times. It appears the driver was not wearing his seatbelt, and was ejected when the vehicle rolled.
The man was transported to Corona Regional Hospital with extensive head trauma; he later died as a result of the injuries he sustained during this incident. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
The investigation is being handled by the Corona Police Department's Collision Response Team. The man's name is being withheld at this time pending notification to the family by the Riverside County Coroner's Office.
