ATTENTION PARENTS – TAMPERED CANDY

Your Wisconsin Rapids Police Department took a report regarding a nail inside of a Green Sour Apple Tootsie Roll candy received while Trick or Treating Halloween night. The mother of the child reported that she was not exactly certain of the location of the residence where they received this candy, however she described two different location which included a number of blocks in the area around the library in the city of Nekoosa and a number of blocks around the area of 21st Avenue South at Clark Street in Wisconsin Rapids.

We advise all parents to look over their children’s Halloween candy they received while Trick or Treating, and to dispose of any that looks suspicious or has a broken or unsealed packaging.
