La Verne Police Officers will participate in No-Shave November to raise awareness for prostate cancer. 
Officers choosing to participate will let their beards grow during the entire month and have entered a friendly rivalry as to who will grow the best beard.  This includes officers in uniform.  If you see an officer wearing a beard, feel free to ask him about their fund raising effort to fight prostate cancer and how you can participate by donating to a good cause.
