Attention Rutgers Community:
The Rutgers University Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault which was reported to have occurred on Friday, November 4, 2016 at approximately 2:30 PM at the Rutgers School of Business which is located at 100 Rockafeller Road in Piscataway.
In this incident the suspect entered a University office where he attacked two affiliated individuals with a knife without provocation. The victims were able to flee from the office and responding Police Officers took the suspect into custody upon arrival. The two victims were transported to a local area hospital for treatment sustained during the attack and the suspect was also transported for self-inflicted injuries.
The Rutgers University Police Department is actively investigating this incident and asks that anyone with information or who may have been in the area at the time contact the Rutgers Police Detective Bureau at 848-932-8025.
