Officers responded to a reported assault. A male reported he was physically assaulted, his car damaged, and his keys stolen after he parked his car at the end of an unmarked private roadway to place an "open house" sign on the adjoining public roadway. Follow-up is being conducted.

Officers responded to a reported package theft. An unknown female stole a package off of the front porch.

Arrest: 61 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of controlled substance
Officers located a suspicious vehicle. The driver was determined to be on searchable probation. A search yielded methamphetamine. The driver was cited and released.

Officers responded to residential burglary. Follow-up is being conducted.

Arrest: 27 year old male, resident of Oakland
Charges: Parole violation, possession of an inhalant
Officers responded to a report of a subject behaving suspiciously. The unknown male had been lying on the neighbor’s lawn and kept spraying something into his mouth. Officers determined that the subject was using chemical inhalants. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 42 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: DUI, hit and run
Officers responded to a reported hit and run with the victim following the suspect. All parties were contacted at University and Elm. The driver of the suspect vehicle was determined to be displaying the objective signs of intoxication. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Officers responded to a commercial burglary. Several suspects entered the business, stole merchandise, and fled the scene. Follow-up is being conducted.

Arrest: 34 year old male, resident of San Jose; 34 year old male, resident of San Jose; 19 year old female, resident of San Jose
Charges: Parole violation, outside warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle occupied by subjects who were making customers uncomfortable. Upon their arrival, officers determined that one of the passengers was on parole. A search yielded heroin and hypodermic needles. The first subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant and a parole violation and transported to Main Jail. The second subject was arrested for driving on a suspended driver's license and possession of drug paraphernalia and cited and released. The third subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and cited and released.

Arrest: 22 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of controlled substance, under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious subject who was seen loitering in the area for an extended period of time. Upon their arrival, officers determined that the subject was under the influence and in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.
