Clark and Scott Counties-Over the last couple of days, troopers and a detective from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg made arrests on outstanding arrest warrants. The first arrest came on Monday, when troopers and an Indiana State Police K-9, went to Mt. Zion Road in Henryville, to serve two Scott County Arrest Warrants on Michael A. Nasby, 32, from Henryville, IN. He was wanted for Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony and Possession of Marijuana, Misdemeanor. Living with Michael Nasby was Sally Stepp, also from Henryville. Sally Stepp was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Scott County for being a Habitual Traffic Violator, Felony. When troopers arrived at the residence on Mt. Zion road, one of the troopers, trooper Matt Busick, saw and recognized Michael Nasby inside of the trailer. When troopers requested him to come out of the trailer, Nasby stated he would not come out. Trooper Nathan Abbott, also on the scene, released his K-9, Teague through a window of the home. As Teague entered the residence, Michael Nasby fled out of the front door and was taken into custody. Sally Stepp initially refused to exit the trailer but, a few minutes later she allowed officers to take her into custody also.
Both, Nasby and Stepp were taken to the Clark County Jail and incarcerated with the additional charge of Resisting Law Enforcement, Misdemeanor.
The next arrest came yesterday, when detective David Mitchell from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg, arrested Heathe L. Barnes, 23, from North Jeffrey Street in rural Scott County.
