Woodway Officers to receive life-saving pin. 
I am pleased to announce that at the Woodway City Council meeting on Monday 11/14/16 three Woodway officers will be honored for there life saving efforts in performing CPR and using an AED on a citizen who had a heart attack and coded. On October 23rd .The officers worked diligently until they got a pulse.
The presentation will be at 5:30 PM honoring these officers at the city Council Chambers. The Citizen saved along with members of his family will also be present to meet the 3 heroic officers for the first time This was truly a team effort from the 3 officers.
The Citizen was transported by ETMC personnel to the Providence where he underwent treatment and was subsequently released. The two paramedics from ETMC who transpired him will also be present along with the director of ETMC Waco Mr James Stefka
This is a very rare and distinguished honor that an officer receives.
