Officers responded to a report of a mail theft. Unknown suspects were observed removing mail from the victim’s mailbox.

Officers responded to a strong arm robbery. The unknown suspect took the victim's cellphone via fear and intimidation. The suspect and the victim's stolen property remain outstanding.

Mariposa/N. Santa Cruz
Arrest: 28 year old male, resident of Soquel; 23 year old male, resident of Soquel
Charges: Possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and observed the driver switching positions with the passenger. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the original driver had a suspended driver’s license. A probation search yielded narcotics, including marijuana and heroin, and hypodermic needles. The first subject was arrested and transported to Main Jail. The second was cited and released.

Officers responded to a report of criminal threats. An employee of a business was threatened by a patron. The suspect has been identified and follow-up is being conducted.
