PLATTE/WYANDOTTE COUNTIES – Crews will close all lanes of the new US 69 Missouri River Bridge which includes southbound US 69 at I-635 and northbound US 69 at Kindleberger Rd. from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, November 17 for demolition of the old Platte Purchase Bridge. All work is weather dependent.

This is all part of a project to replace the current U.S. 69 Highway Bridge over the Missouri River. A new structure will be constructed in its place and will include multiple lanes and bike/pedestrian access. It will be open to traffic in December 2016.
