Update: Name released in Fatal Traffic Crash
The name of the driver in an early morning traffic crash on I-96 in Fruitport Township has been released. Aaron Mather, 50, a Fruitport area resident has been identified as the driver of the tractor-trailer that crashed at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Eastbound I-96 near the 4 mile marker. The cause of the crash is still under investigation and an autopsy has been scheduled.
