IU Health Bloomington Hospital Supports Bolt for the Heart and Indiana State Police Partnership with Donation of 15 AEDs
STATE POLICE CRUISERS IN RURAL INDIANA TO HAVE LIFE-SAVING TOOLS
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University Health kicked off the 2016 Bolt for the Heart Thanksgiving Day race in late September, with a donation of 15 additional Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) to Bolt for the Heart Foundation and the Indiana State Police (ISP). IU Health sponsors the annual Bolt for the Heart 5K, as well as its ongoing partnership with ISP, which currently has placed 60 AEDs in state police cruisers in rural parts of Indiana. At the fall event, IU Health pledged to donate 50 more AEDs to more ISP officers across the state.
What: IU Health Bloomington Hospital will present 15 additional AED donations to Indiana State Police members.
