Great News! Hoffman Bros. is planning to restore traffic back to normal on Michigan Ave for East and Westbound vehicles this afternoon! As a result of the traffic being restored, Cadillac Asphalt will begin milling the detour route (first block of Monroe Street to W. Henry to E. Henry to Old Creek Drive up to Michigan Ave) tomorrow – Thursday. Cadillac Asphalt is scheduled to begin paving the detour route on Friday and finishing up sometime on Saturday. There are still some minor items to be completed, but the project is extremely close to being complete.
Please stay tuned for updates as the Michigan Ave project progresses. The City of Saline staff will be providing at minimum, a weekly update, and sometimes daily informational postings depending on what is taking place in the construction zone.
