Marshall County in the "Marginal Risk" area for T-storms this afternoon into tonight. Some may be strong to severe.
The National Weather Service hazardous weather outlook for today is advising of a strong cold front which will move into the area, bringing rain showers and the potential for thunderstorms late this afternoon in to early evening. IF thunderstorms can develop, severe weather is possible due to the strength of the system. The threat will be fairly isolated, with the best chances for severe weather west of I 69. The main threat would be wind gusts of 50 + mph. However, an isolated weak tornado can not be ruled out. In the meantime, stay weather aware. Monitor your local news for weather updates and be prepared to take shelter if the weather becomes threatening.
