Morgantown (Morgan County) – At 11:00 am yesterday morning, a 2003 GMC pickup truck travelling west on State Road 252 from Morgantown crossed over the centerline and left the roadway. The pickup continued into a resident’s yard until striking the home located at 8589 SR 252.
It is unknown at this time the reason the pickup truck left roadway. The driver, Delmer E. Dillard, 78 of Trafalgar was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle, Wanda Denson, 72 of Nineveh suffered non-life threatening injuries.
