11/11/16 WTPD arrested Phyllis Portieles, age 34, of Washington, NJ for simple assault, harassment, obstruction of the administration of justice and resisting arrest. She was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.

11/13/16 WTPD arrested Sean Davis, age 25, of Phillipsburg, NJ for a $1000.00 outstanding warrant out of Greenwich Township. On 11/13/16 at approximately 4:37 PM, patrol observed Mr. Davis, who was known to have an outstanding warrant, walking on W. Washington Ave, in Washington Borough. The officer made contact with Mr. Davis, confirmed the active warrant, and took him into custody without incident. He was processed and released with a new court date.

11/16/16 WTPD arrested Joseph Peardon, age 23, of Washington, NJ, August Bartell 3rd , of Port Murray, NJ and Justin Smith, age 24, of Liberty Twsp., NJ for simple assault and disorderly conduct. On 11/16/16 at approximately 6:07 PM, patrol was dispatched to a physical dispute in front of Juanitos Mexican Restaurant, 3 Broad St, in Washington Borough. Upon patrols’ arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Peardon, Mr. Bartell and Mr. Smith were engaged in a physical altercation. Mr. Bartell suffered from a minor injury to his face and was treated at the scene by the Washington Emergency Squad. All parties were charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct. They were released with mandatory court date(s).

11/18/16 WTPD arrested Clearance Williams, age 57, of Asbury, NJ for a local ordinance of urinating in public. On 11/18/16 at approximately 9:19 PM, patrol observed Mr. Williams urinating between two parked vehicles in the parking lot of Scotty’s Stadium Club, 15 Belvidere Ave, in Washington Borough. Mr. Williams was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

11/18/16 at approximately 7:46 PM WTPD officers responded to a residence in the 40 block of W. Warren St. in Washington Borough, NJ for a man experiencing a drug overdose. Upon the officer’s arrival, a 37 year old male was located, who was unconscious. Officer’s determined that the man was experiencing a drug overdose. The officers on location quickly administered the anti-opioid drug, Narcan. The man regained consciousness and was transported by the Washington Emergency Squad to St. Luke’s Hospital (Warren Campus) for treatment.

11/19/16 WTPD arrested Abigail Somogyi, age 41, of Washington, NJ for simple assault. She was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

11/19/16 WTPD arrested Santa Somogyi, age 41, of Washington, NJ for simple assault. She was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

11/19/16 WTPD arrested Brian Petix, age 33, of Easton, PA and Katrina Pantuso, age 26, of Phillipsburg, NJ. On Friday 11/19/16 at 9:39 PM, officers were dispatched to a minor motor vehicle accident in the Quick-Chek parking lot, 350 Rte. 57 W. in Washington Township. As a result on the accident, the driver of one vehicle, Mr. Petix, and his passenger, Ms. Pantuso, were arrested. The officer’s investigation revealed that Mr. Petix was a NCIC wanted person for Homicide out of the Pennsylvania State Police Fern Ridge Barracks. Mr. Petix was taken into custody without incident, processed and lodged in the WC Jail without bail to await extradition. Ms. Pantuso was charged with tampering with evidence, hindering apprehension, possession of hypodermic needles and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Pantuso was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $5000.00 bail.
