The Dos Palos Police Department responded to the Los Banos Hospital after being notified of a stab victim.
Investigators learned that an altercation took place in the 1200 block of Norton Avenue, Dos Palos, CA. During that altercation, Edge Apodaca reportedly stabbed the victim numerous times.
The victim was transported to the hospital and has since been released.
Apodaca was located this morning by Officer Areias in the area of Obanion Park. Areias took Apodaca into custody.
Officer Battles, the investigator on the case, arrested Apodaca for assault with a deadly weapon.
Apodaca had a knife in his possession at the time of his arrest, it is unknown if this was the weapon used during the assault.
Apodaca was born in 1991 has is known to frequent Dos Palos, Madera County, Merced, and Frenso.
