UPDATE: Detectives Investigate Fatal Stabbing

Modesto, CA – On Saturday at approximately 5 p.m., Modesto Police Department officers responded to the report of a stabbing in the 100 block of Almond Ave. When officers arrived they found 56-year-old Patrick Hutchings from Modesto who had been stabbed. Hutchings was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he died a short time later. Detectives continue their investigation into the events that led up to the stabbing, a motive behind the incident and into any suspects that may have been involved.
