Arrest: 37 year old male, resident of Cupertino; 23 year old female, resident of Soquel
Charges: Possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, outside warrant
Officers contacted two suspicious subjects and determined that the male was in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. It was also determined that he had an outstanding warrant. The female was also in possession of heroin. Both were cited and released.

Officers responded to a residential burglary. Unknown suspects forced entry into a home and stole items, including two bicycles. The bicycles were located nearby. Follow-up is being conducted.

Officers responded to a report of mail theft. The victim provided suspect information and follow-up is being conducted.

Arrest: 23 year old male, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Possession of a switchblade
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and encountered a subject behaving suspiciously. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the subject was in possession of a switchblade knife. He was cited and released.

Arrest: 51 year old female, resident of Santa Cruz
Charges: Possession of narcotics, shoplifting
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter that was resisting employees. Upon their arrival, the suspect was determined to have taken numerous items. She was also found to be in possession of narcotics without a prescription. She was cited and released.

Officers responded to a just-occurred theft of a bicycle. The victim observed the suspect enter her balcony and steal the bike.

N. Santa Cruz/Bachman
Arrest: 22 year old female, resident of San Jose
Charges: DUI, possession of narcotics
Officers observed a disabled vehicle that had been involved in a collision. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver had struck a parked vehicle. The driver exhibited the objective signs of intoxication. It was also determined that she was in possession of cocaine. She was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Officers responded to a residential alarm and determined that a burglary had occurred. Unknown suspects forced entry by throwing a large rock through the rear sliding glass door. Follow-up is being conducted.

Arrest: 32 year old male, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Possession of a controlled substance, under the influence, parole violation
Officers responded to a disturbance. An involved party was determined to be under the influence of a stimulant, in possession of methamphetamine, and in violation of his active parole terms. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 29 year old female, resident of San Jose
Charges: DUI, child endangerment, hit and run, suspended driver’s license, outstanding warrant
Officers responded to a gas station on the report of a driver backing into the gas pumps and fleeing the scene. The vehicle was located and officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop. The driver exhibited the objective signs of intoxication, was found to be driving on a suspended driver’s license, and had an outstanding warrant. Additionally, there was a small child in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and transported to Main Jail.
