Monon Bank Robbery Suspect still at Large
Monon-Today at approximately 10:45 a.m. the Alliance Bank at 319 North Market Street Monon, IN was robbed of an undisclosed amount of US Currency.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that a white male, approximately six feet one inch tall wearing a light gray stocking cap with a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, walked into the bank and demanded money from one of the tellers. A handgun was displayed and after receiving the money the suspect left the bank heading south on Market Street.
A picture of the suspect leaving the bank is attached to the release. If you have any information on the bank robbery, contact Master Trooper Detective Jay Harper at 765-567-2125. You can remain anonymous if you want.
Assisting at the scene were Troopers from the Indiana State Police at the Lafayette and Lowell Post, ISP Field Investigations Division from the Lafayette Post, Monon Police Department, White County Sheriff’s Department, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, Francesville Police Department and Brookston Police Department. The investigation is continuing.
Suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
