TORNADO WATCH FOR BEDFORD, COFFEE, GILES, GRUNDY, LEWIS, MARSHALL, AND MAURY UNTIL MIDNIGHT

THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
NORTHERN ALABAMA
SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE

* EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY NIGHT FROM 645 PM UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST.

* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
A FEW TORNADOES AND A COUPLE INTENSE TORNADOES POSSIBLE
ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

SUMMARY...SEVERAL INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHERN MS WILL
CONTINUE TO TRACK NORTHEASTWARD AND INTO THE WATCH THIS EVENING.
VERY STRONG WINDS ALOFT WILL POSE A RISK OF DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND
ISOLATED TORNADOES.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 55 STATUTE MILES
NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 35 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF HUNTSVILLE
AL TO 70 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF HUNTSVILLE AL. FOR A COMPLETE
