Indiana State Police Capitol Police Division Detectives asking for Public’s Assistance to Identify Theft Suspects
 
Indianapolis, IN- The Indiana State Police Capitol Police Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying persons suspected of breaking into nine vehicles that were parked inside the Washington Street parking garage. The thefts occurred during a marathon in downtown Indianapolis on November 5, 2016 between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. The suspects stole credit cards that were used to make fraudulent purchases at a gas station and shoe store.
 
Surveillance cameras at the Speedway gas station, located at 3540 W. 30th Street, Indianapolis, captured video of the suspects arriving in an older silver four door passenger car and dark colored pickup and utilizing a stolen credit card to purchase gas. The stolen credit cards were also used on the same date to make purchases at the Lafayette Square Mall Foot Locker.
 
Police are asking anyone that may recognize the vehicles or individuals in the photos to contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS. (8477) Callers can remain anonymous.
