Lockout of the Malverne Schools due to an armed robbery in Lynbrook 
This afternoon the Lynbrook Police Department received a call for an armed Robbery of "The Barm" located on Hempstead Ave. in Lynbrook.
Due to the close proximity to one of the Malverne Schools, a "lockout was initiated at all the schools. It has been determined that there is no longer a threat of an offender in the area and the lockout has or will be lifted shortly.
