The annual Christmas in Red Oak event and parade scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2016, has been cancelled due to predicted inclement weather. There appears to be a consensus among local news outlets and the National Weather Service that there will be extensive rain and cold temperatures on Saturday. The City of Red Oak looks forward to hosting this event each year and apologizes that the event must be cancelled.
