On 12/05/2016 Dereese Miller turned himself into Cleveland County Sheriff Department and was transported to the county line where the Rutherford County Sheriff Department transported Mr. Miller to the Rutherford County Detention Center where the warrant was served on him. Mr. Miller is in custody on a $20,000.00 bond.
Thanks for all the help that was received from the public in reference of the shooting on Collett Street in Rutherfordton that occurred on 11/26/2016.



On 11/30/2016 the Rutherfordton Police Department along with members of the Rutherford County Sheriff Department and Polk County Sheriff Department arrested Daveon Tyrell Twitty in the area of Green Creek in Polk County. Mr. Twitty is currently in custody at the Rutherford County Detention Center under a $101,000.00 bond. Thanks for all the calls and tips that came in from the public.

The Rutherfordton Police Department is still asking for help locating Dereese Matthew Miller.

The Rutherfordton Police Department is requesting help from the public in attempting to locate Daveon Tyrell Twitty and Dereese Matthew Miller. These subject's are wanted for their involvement of a shooting that occurred on Collett Street in Rutherfordton on 11/26/2016.

Daveon Tyrell Twitty is wanted by the Rutherfordton Police Department for numerous charges. Which include Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill inflicting Serious Injury, Shooting into Occupied Dwelling and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon.

Dereese Matthew Miller is wanted for Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.
