On Thursday, December 8, 2016, the Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting Ceremony in Central Islip will take place. Southbound Carleton Ave will be closed from 6 PM to 9 PM between North Research Place and South Research Place.
Motorists are advised to avoid this area and to expect delays.
