Nashville (Brown County) - A pickup truck that had earlier been reported stolen from Bloomington was found late Monday afternoon, just after it had been driven into a tree on Country Club Road, just east of Nashville.
Jesse Irvin Richardson, 28 of Bloomington was found to be in possession of the 1995 Ford F150 pickup truck after the crash had occurred. Investigators learned the truck had been driven at a high rate of speed and was unable to negotiate a curve, thereby leaving the roadway, striking a fence and ultimatley a tree.
Richardson was then air lifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, suffering from compound fractures.
Both the crash and ensuing criminal investigation are currently ongoing.
