Greene County Sheriff's Deputies are currently investigating a shooting incident in the 4300 block of West Delmar Street (southwest Greene County). Deputies were responding to an active domestic disturbance between a male and female. Deputies received an additional call close to their location in the 1000 block of South Mahn Avenue about someone who had a gunshot wound; they located a male with a non-life threatening injury who was transported to a local hospital for further medical attention.

At this time, Greene County Sheriff's Deputies are conducting interviews to determine the series of events prior to their arrival and the involvement of the injured male as well as processing the scene for evidence. Two people have been detained for questioning and there does not appear to be any concerns for the public's safety.
