Snow Emergency & Parking Ban
Rocky River has experienced heavy snow fall overnight.
The Snow Emergency and Parking Ban is in effect pursuant to Rocky River Codified Ordinance 351.19. There is no parking on City streets. Cars may be parked for no longer than five minutes for the actual loading or unloading of passengers, or of property or goods, provided that the operator of such vehicle is immediately available, and provided no other other ordinance restricting parking is violated.
Road crews have been out since the snow began and will continue to work until roads are cleared. Expect travel delays this morning and plan for extra travel time.
The predicted high temperature today is 16 degrees.
Rocky River City School District will be closed today, Thursday, December 15 due to the severe weather conditions. All after school athletics and activities are also canceled.
