Navarro River At Navarro affecting Mendocino County Eel River At Fernbridge affecting Humboldt County The cold front has exited Mendocino County and the rain has ended. The Navarro River has crested...and will continue to fall overnight. The lower Eel River will continue to rise through this evening and will crest early Friday morning. * At 7:15 PM Thursday the stage was 24.1 feet.
* Minor Flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* FORECAST...The river will rise to near 23.9 feet late this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet...Flooding of Highway 128 approximately 5 miles from Highway 1 is certain and the road will be closed. Motorists should use alternate routes. &&
* AFFECTED AREAS: MENDOCINO
