UPDATE 12/15/2016 5:50PM - Per WYDOT personnel, Highway 22 Teton Pass will be closed at least overnight due to avalanche. Responders are checking the area to ensure it is safe and that no one is caught in the slide. ORIGINAL MESSAGE 12/15/2016 5:00pm - An avalanche on Highway 22 Teton Pass just east of the summit has closed both lanes of travel. Travelers are asked to avoid the area until pass is reopened.
